We’ve teamed up with Kendal Mountain Festival and Park Cliffe campsite to give away an inspiring weekend of adventure in the Lake District to one lucky newsletter subscriber
Whether you’re a wild camper, mountain biker, white-water kayaker or simply love getting outdoors with your kids, few events stimulate the adventure senses quite like a weekend at Kendal Mountain Festival. Bringing together the world’s leading skiers, rock-climbers, mountaineers and outdoors enthusiasts in one place, this weekend-long event sees the Cumbrian market town of Kendal burst with the spirit of adventure. Think jaw-dropping adventure films, brand new book launches, inspiring photography workshops and talks from the great and good of the outdoors world. And this year, from 16th–18th November, you could be there too, enjoying the very best bits of the festival with this incredible competition.
We’ve teamed up with Kendal Mountain Festival to give away the hottest tickets in the house, with two tickets to their sell-out Bike Night session on Friday 16th November, plus tickets to the incredible Snow Night session, tickets to dance all night at the KMF ceilidh and two all-day film passes for both the Saturday and Sunday of the festival – all for one lucky winner.
To top it all off, we’ve also partnered with Cool Camping-recommended campsite Park Cliffe, above the eastern shores of Windermere, so that you can sleep with ease nearby in one of their insulated, premium camping pods. With views of the lake, the Park Cliffe pod sleeps up to five people, with a double bed, two bunks and a trundle bed, plus a small heater to keep things cosy, while some of the best footpaths in the Lake District National Park are slap bang on your pod-step.
The winner will enjoy kicking back in Kendal and hearing talks from the best in the mountain biking and cycling world at Bike Night, watching Alex Honnold and Tommy Caldwell get to grips with big walls in the latest climbing films and meeting the skiers that take on the most daunting slopes at the Snow Night. And, if you’ve got kids keen on adventuring too, you’ll be thrilled to find free family events running all weekend, plus loads to do in the main ‘Basecamp Village’, where the latest books, films and gear are all available to buy.
From lovers of wild camping literature to climbers setting their sights on the biggest crags, there’s something for everyone at this incredible annual event, plus, of course, the opportunity to enjoy the Lake District National Park in all its autumn glory.
