Chafford Park is a family-run farm that’s home to one of Kent’s most welcoming campsites. Occupying a large apron of grass near the main house and with space for up to 50 tents, it’s a simple site with a relaxed and laid back attitude and camping of the more off-grid, wilder sort. There are still good sanitary facilities; with toilets, showers and a washing-up area, but without that commercial campsite feel. Nearby, the likes of Hever Castle, Penshurst Place and Ashdown Forest will keep you busy, while it’s proximity to London makes it a great shout for weekend breaks.
