As part of crowdfunder.co.uk and Go Daddy’s big “What’s Your Idea?” campaign, popular Leicestershire glamping site Country Bumpkin Yurts have, today, launched a £3000 crowdfunding campaign. Owners and entrepreneurs, Lara and Jen (AKA the Country Bumpkins) are looking to create a café and event venue unlike anything else seen before. Championing local food and drink in a quirky country setting, the Canvas Café is set to extend the sites ‘home-grown’ ethos one step further, a happy addition to a glamping site that already boasts a veg patch, on-site pigs and a renowned farm shop.

The £3000 raised on crowdfunder.co.uk will be used to fund the seating and contribute to the catering equipment. By supporting and pledging on their project, you can expect to pick up one of their fantastic rewards in return, such as delicious coffee and homemade cake, a weekend glamping experience or even a private party for you and 20 friends. For those with fast fingers, it’s is a great way to bag a glamping bargain, too.

Delivered in partnership with online website provider GoDaddy, “What’s Your Idea?” kicked off in early February and offered the most innovative and impactful ideas of 2018 the opportunity to win £1,000 towards a crowdfunding project. Running over seven different days – each with its own theme – the even finished with the Canvas Cafe announced as one of  handful of winners in the #SheMeansBusiness Female Entrepreneur category.

“Winning £1,000 and receiving support from Crowdfunder, GoDaddy and Enterprise Nation has given us the confidence to really take a step forward with our business idea!”, Lara and Jen told Cool Camping. “We’re hoping that the project will encourage people to get together with friends, eat great local food and spend more time in the great outdoors.”

The Canvas Café campaign is now open and searching for crowdfunding support. It runs for just two weeks, with some incredible rewards on offer to tickle your taste buds, inspire you to try glamping or have a big party, you don’t want to miss out!
