About Apple Camping
Glamping only. So no tents, campervans or caravans.
Owner Toby has sent his life round these parts and is never short of recommendations. Just ask if you want some local advice. For families, Manor House Wildlife Park (01646 651201) offers a chance to explore the globe – head down to the African Village where you can walk with lemurs or trek through the wallaby enclosure in the Australian bush. Back in Britain, the nearby harbour town of Tenby is a cute little spot, with ferries running out to Caldy Island, or try the harbour in Saundersfoot where there is also a sandy, blue flag beach. Freshwater West, meanwhile, was the filing location for Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows and Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood, while Barafundle Bay was recently voted the best beach in Wales.
Food & Drink
The family-friendly, Parsonage Farm Inn (01834 871436) in the village of St Florence (2¼ miles) is an excellent local pub, while the Sun (01834 871322), also in St Florence, is a traditional picture-postcard pub full of local memorabilia.

Myself and my sister and her giant dog, Duggy, stayed for 2 nights at Apple Camping. We had the most wonderful stay. The pitches are spaced apart so it doesn't feel like you are in the laps of your neighbours. Facilities are great, and the staff were super friendly. We stayed in the Witches Hat and it was just perfect. Spacy inside and lots of room to sit out in the sun. We had a fantastic stay and will be back again in the future, im sure :) Pip
What an amazing place
A amazing campsite, only a short drive from Tenby there are some amazing places to stay. We stayed in the Rosebud Yurt, it was cosy and warm. All the pitches are well spread out with a large green space in the middle. The communal spaces are clean with cooking equipment provided. I would love to come back and stay in the train carriage or one of the planes. There is also a large carpark with a electric charge point! 10/10 can't wait to return!
2 nights in the Jet Star and loved it...
My partner and I spent 2 nights in the Jet Star and loved it! We were greeted by Toby who showed us around and he was only a phone call away if we needed anything. We didnt use the shared facilities as we had our own toilet. But, I did take a look and everything was all clean and tidy. The weather was really bad but what helped is that we were staying in something so unique. We spent a day at the Manor wildlife park, which was only a 5min drive away. Then the second day we went exploring the lovely Tenby beaches. We easily could have stayed there another day or so. Highly recommend.
Amazing campsite with great facilities
As a single traveller, one thing I’m prone not to do, is put up my own tent. At Apple Camping I treated myself to the airbus. It’s incredible. Once you’ve opened everything there is to open, and played with all the light switches, it’s really easy to relax. It does take time to close all the window blinds at night though. The good thing about the airbus is everything is in one place and it has its own garden space. The weather wasn’t great whilst I was there, apart from one day when I went exploring in the car of all the places we used to visit as children. Toby is really helpful as is Wolff who showed me around. Great quirky campsite and very quiet. Dave at Just Go Taxis is very reliable if you need a lift to the pub. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and didn’t want to leave. Made another booking whilst I was there as I loved it so much.

Perfect get away.
We stayed in the jet star, for 2 nights with my wife and 11- year old and 8 year old..it was our first break away as a family for a year and we loved it. The children didn’t pick up their mobile phones or any other mobile devices. they were straight into their imagination stations playing pilots and cabin crew and having a mini disco in the plane. If we had to score it out of 10 we would give it a 9 the only thing that could have been better is the sleeping arrangements for the adults it’s fine but the kids were one at the top end of the plane in a kind of single bed, and the other one was sleeping on a sofa kind of thing and wasn’t comfortable. But didn’t spoil the experience. The cooking facilities were good. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves on the night we arrived and we were greeted by Wolff and after setting in, we were lucky enough to get a vip tour of the park and met the owner Toby who was also very friendly with us and the children. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.
