Our amazing double-yurt made of a 19ft and 16ft traditional yurts joined together with a small corridor - like having two adjoining rooms in a hotel. It is perfect for families, two couples sharing or a couple who would like a separate bedroom and lounge area. Each side of the yurt is heated by a woodburner and a door between the two yurts can be closed for additional privacy, as required. The yurt contains one full size double bed, one daybed and two single futon chairs. This yurt sleeps a maximum of six people including children or two adults with five young children. This yurt is not suitable for two families to share, for this you would need to book two separate yurts.

Glamping at Strawberry Skys Yurts is the perfect way to relax and unwind. Situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Wales we have a tranquil, peaceful setting that has everything you need for a unique, magical, glamping experience where you can create great memories that will stay with you long after you have returned home. While here you can spend uninterrupted, quality time with family and loved ones, stay on site, or explore everything that Mid and North Wales has to offer then spend an evening under the stars, chatting around the campfire and toasting marshmallows. After the best nights sleep you've had in ages in one of our super cosy yurts, you can wake up the next morning to beautiful, unspoilt natural scenery and a quiet tranquility broken only by birdsong.

We have four yurts on site, three traditional Mongolian yurts one of which is a double yurt formed by joining two yurts together and an all wooden yurt. You will never feel cramped or hurried on our yurt camping site. You simply relax  enjoy your yurt holiday at your own pace. Children can roam free, exploring their natural surroundings, or brush up on their outdoor survival skills, gathering wood, building campfires or rustling up an alfresco feast on the barbecue. If you want to venture out we are ideally positioned for you explore all that mid and north wales has to offer. There's a wealth of family-friendly activities to experience including cycling, kayaking, narrow gauge railways, canal boat trips, sea side and mountains, as well as plenty of excellent pubs, restaurants and shops in the nearby market towns and villages.

Couples seeking a romantic break can enjoy stunning sunsets and starry nights from the comfort of their yurt. There is plenty of space between yurts, so the site always has a peaceful, intimate ambiance.

Our Yurt holidays are ideal for family groups who can rent all three, or four yurts together and have exclusive use of the site.

Site Facilities

There are 4 yurts on site – Oak is a double yurt consisting of a 19ft and a 16ft yurt joined together to provide a separate bedroom and lounge area. Cherry is 19ft and sleeps 6, Willow and Ash are each 16ft yurts and can sleep 2 adults and 2 children apiece. 2 compost loos (one for each movement!), modern kitchen outbuilding, a shower block and a nice terraced picnic area.
