The Owner Says
Monamore is a 20ft luxury insulated yurt located at the lower end of our orchard amongst ash and sycamore trees. It contains a log burning stove (incorporating a small oven and hob for cooking), solar powered lighting and smart phone charging point. It sleeps up to six people via a double bed and two double futons. Alternate sleeping configurations can be provided if preferred, including a cot. All bedding is provided. It has its own dedicated private bathroom housed within our nearby bathroom block and all towels are provided. There are shared pot-washing and laundry facilities housed within the bathroom block.
Inside the yurt has a laminate wood floor and a large 6ft larch wood wheel flooding the yurt with light or providing wonderful star gazing opportunities. In addition to the double bed there are comfortable futon sofa/beds, a food preparation area, a dining table and chairs and all crockery and cooking utensils.
Outside there is a picnic table and a firepit with log seating and slow cooking equipment.

Tucked away at the southern end of the stunning Scottish island of Arran, sits exclusive new glamping site Runach Arainn ('Secret or Beloved Arran' in Gaelic). We have two 20ft diameter yurts that sleep up to 6 and an 18ft diameter yurt that sleeps up to 4. Each yurt is luxuriously furnished with bedding, a dining table, cooking facilities a wood burning stove and private bathroom in the nearby block. An ideal destination for a romantic weekend break or as a base for a family holiday enjoying the hills, forests and beaches of Arran.
Yurts feature a double bed plus two double futons for additional guests. They're fully equipped with all you need, including a wood burning stove/oven for heat and cooking, plus all utensils and crockery. They are insulated for year round comfort and have a private bathroom with a shower and a composting toilet. High chairs and cots are available on request. Outside there is a firepit, more cooking wares and a picnic bench. It's all off-grid but there are plenty of solar powered lights and shared pot washing and laundry facilities (washing machine) a short walk away. Around and about you'll discover chickens, ducks, geese and bees, all kept on the land – so expect a very fresh supply of fresh eggs and honey!
