The Owner Says
These five-metre, deluxe bell tents are fabulously roomy. At 12' high in the centre, there's plenty of wiggle room, and with a massive five-metre diameter, they provide a palatial pad for two, a perfect nest for a couple's retreat and plentiful room for the whole family.
If you're new to bell tent camping, the benefits are not just in size. Camping under natural cotton canvas is a completely different sleeping experience to the standard polyester tent. No waking up feeling parched and sweaty. The breathable nature of the material, together with the four big vents the tents have, means you are actually sleeping in the fresh air. The vents and the main door have a separate bug screen, allowing the air to circulate through the tent, which all in all is very conducive to a good night's rest.
You will also have a wood burning stove in your fully furnished tent, everything you'll need for cooking and eating, a fire pit and BBQ as well as access to Bells Farm Shop, award winning butchers and the pick your own fruit and vegetables.

Glamping only. Dogs not permitted. Large groups, corporate hire, birthday celebrations and (chilled out) stag and hen gatherings available by prior arrangement.
Bring your bikes and head west into Wyre Forest National Nature Reserve, one of the largest, semi-natural woodlands in the UK and home to family-friendly hiking and cycling trails, or get really in amongst the trees at Wyre Forest's Go Ape! (01603 895500) where you can walk rope bridges and zip-line between the branches. It's 6 miles to Harvington Hall (01562 777846), a moated medieval and Elizabethan manor house that runs 'living history' days during the school holidays, with actors in period dress and family activities. The National Trust's Hanbury Hall and Gardens (01527 821214) is also 25 minutes away, while ruined Witley Court and Gardens is 20 minutes. Worcester is great for heritage too – home to a magnificent cathedral and the Royal Worcester Museum (01905 21247), to name but two – or hop on a vintage steam train from nearby Bewdley, following the Severn Valley railway line (you can also hike back along the Severn Valley Country Park route). While you're there, Bewdley is also a good place for hiring canoes and taking guided canoe trips on the River Severn. Animal lovers should also consider West Midlands Safari Park (01299 402114; 6 miles) and the Little Owl Farm Park (01905 620325; 3 miles).
Food & Drink
How many farm shops can lay claim to some 200 different varieties of fruit and vegetables you can pilfer? Pluck your own fresh strawberries from the earth to go with your campfire pancakes and grill freshly picked sweetcorn over the coals of your BBQ. Just take your pick, then head into Bells Farm Shop (01299 251364) to pay afterwards. If you're too lazy to pick your own, you can just go straight to the shop and get the pre-picked stuff, along with jams, chutneys and other local goods (including a butchers and a wide range of drinks from local breweries). For a meal out, there are no fewer than 15 different pubs in Stourport-on-Severn, 2½ miles down the road.

Lovely glamping weekend
Amber's Bell Tent Camping at Bells Farm is located at Bells Farm Shop, Chadwick Barn, Stourport-On-Severn, Worcestershire DY13 9SA
Bells Farm is located on the south side of the A4025, ¾-mile from the roundabout on the A449 or, if you're coming from the other direction, it's 1½ miles after leaving the town of Stourport-on-Severn. It's well sign posted when you get there, with a big white sign that says Bells Farm Shop.
The nearest train station is in Hartlebury 2¼ miles away but for any long journeys the train from there will take you straight to Kidderminster (6 miles) where you'll have to change, so, for the sake of speed, you may be best off just going straight there. There aren't any frequent buses to the glamping site.
