The Billy Goat Cabin at Broadmeadow Farm offers a small super cosy and homely space with stunning views and privacy. The cabin is set in the most beautiful Herefordshire countryside within the 100 acres of arable farmland at Broadmeadow Farm. There are stunning views of Garway Hill, The Skirrd, The Sugar Loaf, Offas Dyke and Hay Bluff. Broadmeadow Farm has a private Flying Club, which has a club house and shower room. There is a miniature cabin playhouse approx. 5 metres from the cabin; great for children to play in and act out their make believe woodland adventures. The woods next to the Cabin are approximately 1 acre, a mixture of dense woodland, perfect for children to explore.
Broadmeadow Flying Club
The Cabin is situated next to a light aircraft runway; in good weather you may be able to watch from the veranda as light aircraft take off.
Broadmeadow Indoor Heated Swimming Pool

NearbyThe site is actually close enough to Hereford that you can walk right into the town centre – it takes just under an hour to reach the cathedral from your cabin (around 3 miles). The cathedral (01432 374200) itself is worth a visit – examine the Mappa Mundi and The Chained Library – and over the road there is a museum and art gallery (01432 260692), plus Hereford's famous Black and White Village with a trail taking in the best houses, including the famous Old House (01432 260694). In the opposite direction, it's a short drive to Snell's Fruit Farm (01989 730229) on Windmill Hill. They grow delicious strawberries and host Pick-Your-Own during summer. Further afield the market towns of Abergavenny, Monmouth, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye and Hay-on-Wye will keep you busy or head south to the Forest of Dean for more rural adventures - such as canoeing, Go Ape, cycle tracks, bike hire, steam railways and ancient woodland. Oakerwood Leisure is situated north of the county and offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as paintballing, quad biking and high ropes. Walks such as Garway Hill, The Skirrid, The Sugar Loaf, The Black Mountains, Hay Bluff, The Golden Valley and Llanthony Priory are all fun possibilities for a day out walking. For indoor entertainment both The Courtyard Theatre in Hereford and The Savoy Theatre in Monmouth offer a wide range of performances such as comedy, speakers, plays, pantomime, dancing as well as cinema. More indoor local indoor entertainment includes Green Spider Climbing, The Core for roller skating and Play Planet for soft play.
Food & DrinkIt's a couple of miles to The Grafton (01432 355233), which is the closest pub for food, and a couple more to The Black Swan (01981 540295) in Much Dewchurch – a favourite of Adrian and Sally's. The Axe and Cleaver at Much Birch, The Kilpeck at Kilpeck and The Tump at Wormelow are also recommended for nearby pub food. For something really fancy, though, try the upmarket restaurants The Hardwick (01873 854220) and The Walnut Tree (01873 852797; book well in advance). Oakchurch (01981 500125) is the place to go for locally-produced meats, cheeses, wines, fruit, vegetables and, of course, cider, for which Herefordshire is famous. There's even a cider museum (01432 354207) in town, along with Weston's Cider Distillery (01531 660233).
