The tent was comfortable, clean bedding and comfy beds. The fire pit and supplies was appreciated. It was full during our stay, the toilets needed maintaining more often, they smelt very bad. The showers were also not hot, again this may have been to too many users.

Luxury with a glorious view

We loved our stay here so much that when we arrived at the next glamping site that we had booked several hours away and found it not to match Shilvington Barn in any regard, we jumped in the car and came all the way back for an extra night. The tents are in a truly peaceful spot with no car noise at all - just the sound of sheep, cows and owls. You wake up to see the sea and the coastline through the tent doors and if you’ve been organised enough to bring a few cooking utensils, you can cook everything on your own grill with wood and some BBQ tools provided. The thing that made this a real luxury was the very limited number of tents in the site and that there more clean showers than tents. The tents were really clean and comfy. We will definitely return here in the future as it had everything we could need close to all the lovely Dorset beaches and towns

The views

Our glamping experience at Shilvington was situated with the best views on the campsite. The tents were spacious and clean and the beds were really comfortable. The fire pit was great to cook on but would recommend taking a stove to boil a kettle and maybe fry an egg on. Because this campsite wasn’t hugely busy all the facilities were clean and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

Great Location Great View , Nice tent

Great location to explore Weymouth. The place is really spacious and clean. An abundance of view. The tent is super clean and comfortable, the beddings the best. a great addition is the BBQ equipment for every tent. Things to improve - Showers, can be better and more comfortable. Toilet very hard to flush. Electricity: phones nowadays are everything, our wallet our camera and GPS, therefore, a bank power to charge the phone can be a great addition. thank you for the great adventure!!

Incredibly quiet and comfy

The tent is brilliant, very clean, comfy beds. Loads of space around, you feel the freedom!!! Very well behaved guests. Overall great. The road lealding to the camp site can be difficult when driving a low car. Again, very very impressed with the tent. Thanks
