The Owner Says

Trecombe Lakes is just five miles from the historic and vibrant town of Falmouth with its stunning beaches, quirky shops and great restaurants. Close by is the beautiful Helford river boasting ancient woodlands, hidden beaches, quaint pubs and the renowned valley gardens of Glendurgan and Trebah. Further afield are St Michael's Mount, The Eden Project and the surfing beaches of the North Coast.

Unlike any other camping pods where you have to bring your own gear we have ensured ours are kitted out to a really high standard with everything you might need for a unique indoor/outdoor experience.

Our pods are made with highly insulated sustainable material with double glazed windows and an electric heater, they have been designed to be warm and cosy in the winter while keeping temperatures cooler in the summer. We have fitted each pod with a little kitchen equipped with a range of utensils, electric hob, oven, fridge and small freezer. You also have a neat little en-suite shower room with sink and toilet, bathroom towels are also provided (2 bath and 2 hand towels). There is also a double bed and two single beds all with bedding and linen provided.

Outside you have your private decking area with seating, Webber BBQ, and your very own fire pit where open fires and toasting marshmallow are obligatory! A woodland play area with an upturned boat, climbing wall, tree house, climbing nets and rope swings should help keep the younger ones busy. For peace of mind the woodland play area and pods are fenced off from the lakes and are only accessible through a wooden gate.

We also have a communal lodge house which has a large fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a TV link to our barn owl, bat and bird box cameras as well as books, games, dvd's and general information that all our guests are welcome to enjoy.

Pre order our tasty Cornish Cream Tea or our delicious locally sourced breakfast hamper and we will have it ready and waiting for you when you arrive at your Pod!

Fantastic stay, would definitely recommend

Trecombe Lakes is absolutely beautiful. The pods are spacious, clean and have a great feel to them. The gardens and surroundings are beautifully maintained. Would definitely come back.

A great place to stay!

We recently had a fantastic stay in one of Trecombe Lakes Pods. The pods are spacious and cosy. The beds are really comfortable and the shower is great! I was expecting the bathroom to be a lot smaller than it was - There was plenty of room. The location is also stunning. My son had a great time making friends and playing in the playground. Highly recommend.

Perfect gateway

This was by far one of the most relaxing and really exciting times I have had in a long time. The pods are so comfortable, charming and have all facilities that are needed. The full functioning kitchen, bed was so comfortable. The shower so spacious. Honestly I could not recommend this place high enough. Will definitely we returning again

Absolutely perfect weekend !

We had been very much looking forward to having a weekend away after a difficult year and Trecombe lakes was the perfect location. Having been a fair weather camper for many years we are now definitely converted to glamping.....Trecombe is a quiet site with seven pods and although it was fully booked we hardly noticed any noise . We loved the fact that BBQs and campfires are very much encouraged and sat out very cosily all evening despite the early morning frost . An unexpected bonus was the nature trail around the lakes which again was very quiet and the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful location. We will definitely return.

Perfectly de

We loved Trecombe lakes. The pods are cosey and the owners have thought about absolutely everything you might need for a comfortable few days away. The sight is tranquil and feels like you are really in the middle of nature, and they clearly take a lot of time and care over making it look nice. Sitting around the fire on a clear starry night was perfect. The lakes are really pretty and worth taking an hour stroll around. The only thing I would suggest to make the stay more comfortable is an extra hour for checkout and some pepper :)
