Lovely campsite and staff

We stayed in a yurt for a couple of nights at the end of September, and it was lovely. The yurt itself was very clean and was the perfect balance of rustic and comfortable. The wood burner meant we never got cold, and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The staff at East Thorne were all very friendly and willing to help. And the private bathroom and kitchen made it all very easy to keep socially distant from others staying on the site. All in all, a great experience and recommended.

Luxury outdoors experience

We decided to book our first glamping trip as we have have always loved camping as a family but the husband decided he'd had enough of camp beds and shared toilet blocks! We compromised with the same outdoors vibe but with some luxury. We were not disappointed! East Thorne Glamping were spot on in delivering style and some luxury to a camping nostalgia. We had a super comfy bed and the children slept like logs in their adult sized bunk beds. We enjoyed the hot tub most evenings and the Roundouse community. We even had the farm animals to entertain us next to our RoundhouseI! The baby goat was crafty enough to get out most days under the wire fence and the pig entertained us with his funny 5 minutes running around. It truly felt like we were camping in a field with the great outdoors but with the luxury of a roof over our head. The bathroom was nice and big and the shower was fantastic. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you needed for indoor and outdoor cooking. We were blessed with decent weather but with the log fire inside the Roundhouse, I would imagine this would be great to come and spend some time out at any time of year. This would be a great place to come with a group of friends as there are 4 roundhouses each sleeping 4-6 people. We will definitely be back and hopefully will bring friends with us next time. Thanks to Naomi & Adam for providing such a great experience.

Beautiful getaway experience

As a surprise for my partner this valentines I thought we would try something different. Everything about Eastthorne Glamping was perfect. They had just put in new electric hot tubs instead of wood burners which was very luxurious. We stayed in the fern roundhouse which was beautiful and sparkling clean and dog friendly so we could bring our Labrador with us. There are many beautiful walks nearby if you are bringing your dog. The best one we found was a 5k around upper lake Tamar. Could not fault the staff, exceptionally friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10.

Fabulous yurt experience

We stayed in a yurt for four nights and it was absolutely brilliant. Fabulous structure which was so spacious. Very comfortable bed and the futon was great for our 10 year old son. Handy table and chairs inside to play games on when it was raining. The wood burner made for a very cosy evening and kept us warm enough all night. At no point were we ever cold. The outdoor kitchen was well appointed with three gas burner and small fridge. We had been travelling before hand so had our coolbox which was a handy overflow. Shower block and toilet blocks very modern and clean. Washing machine and tumble dryer if you need them. So much thought has been put into the whole package. Children's playground, table tennis, basket ball, volley ball, plenty of space for football or cricket (the night cricket with the light up cricket ball was a sight to behold!) a barn with heat lamps and bbq if the weather is too inclement for you to cook and sit at your yurt which then makes a really nice social space with the huge table to mix with other visitors. Animals - goats, chickens, tortoise, zebra finches which you can help feed if you like. Adam, Naomi and Brie were the Nanny McPhee team of glamping. They were always there if you needed them and provided everything you would want for glamping. Not intrusive at all, but happy to sit around the firepit and chat, play cricket, introduce their family etc. Cannot compliment East Thorne highly enough, and we look forward very much to our next visit.

Fantastic place

We had an absolutely fantastic Easter weekend here. We were so warmly welcomed, and we could see all the meticulous care that was put into making our stay as comfortable and lovely as possible. I just love the ethos of the place - fresh, organic eggs and coffee and a swapping station for required supplies available at reception, tasteful decorations in the yurt, bathroom and elsewhere, and more. The hosts had even thoughtfully placed us in the yurt closest to the play park, which our children absolutely loved. This was our first time in Cornwall, and I have to say, I am in love with it. A huge thank you to everyone at East Thorne Glamping!
