Getting There

From the M62 motorway take junction 22, then take the first exit onto A672 and follow this for about 5.4 miles into the village of Ripponden. You will come to a set of lights at a junction with cafes and bars surrounding you. Continue straight through the lights, then immediately turn right onto Elland Road (there is a pub on your left as you do this)

Follow this road for 1.4 miles, climbing steeply out of the valley. Continue straight as you reach the top of the hill and start to look out for a sharp hidden left, about 0.4mile from the Fleece Pub. Turn left onto Scammonden Road and follow this road for about 1.2 miles, passing holiday homes. Pass The Moorcock on your left as you near your turning. Hob lane is on your left after another 500 yards from The Moorcock. Follow the road for a couple of hundred yards and the site can be found on your right-hand side.

From Westvale and Halifax take the first set of lights heading on the B6113 Rochdale Road. As you reach the top of the hill climb, turn right onto Turbury Lane for Norland Village. Follow the road until it becomes Clough Lane. At a tight bend to your right on a bridge, keep following this road. At the church in the heart of the village, bear left, continuing on the same road. Keep going along Shaw Lane, where you will pass the golf course on your right. As you travel along you will see the tent. Turn right onto Hob Lane and continue past the first bend. The field is then on your right-hand side. Please drive in slowly and park on your right-hand side, and please refrain from driving in the middle of the field.

There is a local bus route that provides pick-ups from the road above the site. Sowerby Bridge Train station is the nearest.
