The Owner Says
For an authentic glamping getaway in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside, Glamping West Midlands is the perfect destination. The stately grounds of the grand Mere Hall set the scene perfectly for a weekend of relaxation.
There's plenty of friendly farmyard animals to pet and play with. You can rent your own chickens who'll lay you fresh eggs every morning (touch wood!). The herd of fluffy llama's can't have escaped your notice—the kids can get up close & personal with the weekend llama trekking trips. The yurts sit atop decking on which you'll also find a private seating area and barbeque. Inside, the yurts are fully-equipped for a hassle-free holiday. There is a double bed and two daybeds. If additional airbeds are required they are also available at a modest charge. Bed linen, duvets, pillows and towels are all provided. As with the traditional Mongolian yurts, there's no electricity inside but lighting is provided by enchanting fairy lights and lanterns. The wood burning stove will keep things nice and cosy and your first bag of logs are complimentary. Chris also provides a welcome pack consisting of milk, tea, coffee (camping stove kindly provided) matches, sugar, matches, toilet roll and a couple of bottles of all important plonk (both red and white). Each yurt also has its own cold water supply. The facilities block is just a short walk away and boasts hot showers, electricity points and also a fridge/freezer.
