The Owner Says

Hire one of our traditional yurts and experience chilled glamping at its best. The yurts are clustered around a very young two-acre woodland (trees planted in 2010) all within sight of one another and so give a great sense of a camping community, creating a very safe environment for families. However, each one can provide enough privacy if you’re wanting to get away from it all, particularly outside of the main school holidays.

When booking a yurt holiday with us you will arrive at our beautiful, Pembrokeshire eco campsite to a fully-furnished luxury yurt complete with external kitchen/dining area. We have three traditional Mongolian yurts on site with internal flooring, comfy king size beds, wood burning stoves and two sofa chair beds.

Inside your yurt, you'll find:

  • A double bed
  • Two sofa chair beds
  • Internal stove with protective grill
  • A drawer for clothes and other bits and bobs
  • Picnic table and kitchen areas (under cover)
  • Plenty of pots and pans
  • Windbreak
  • Fire pit and grill
  • Lots of magical candles and fairy lights
  • Solar lights inside and out.

We’re a family run site, with lots of experience of outdoor living, so we’re trying to provide facilities that mean your stay is as comfy and easy as possible - while still providing that “getting back to nature” experience of course!

To ensure this we have kept the site small, with only three holiday yurts and up to five tents, motorhomes or caravans. This means everyone on site can benefit from a little privacy or get to know their neighbours if they choose.

Everyone has access to two hot showers,  a family shower room, two flushing toilets as well as two compost loos for those that want to give something back! In addition each yurt and pitch has a campfire (lots of wood available), a BBQ and a picnic table.

So visit us today to sleep under starry big skies or swim, surf and play on Pembrokeshire’s spectacular beaches. Explore wild coastal beauty or historic gems. Sit around your own campfire. But mainly… just chill!

Beautiful spot, gorgeous well equipped camp

We loved our stay in the Cwtch Wagon. The camp kitchen provided with each glamping spot was gorgeous - a great place to hang out and cook. The view of the stars at night was stunning and the beach is just a 15-20 minute walk away. Hot powerful showers, nice toilets and a quiet site made for a really relaxing stay.

Gorgeous place for glamping.

I really liked this place, it has nearly everything you need. Pros •yurts are quite secluded especially the oak one so it's proper privacy •they provide quite a lot of kitchen equipment, cups bowls, plates, saucepan •very close to the local beaches broadhaven and little haven which are stunning Cons •yurts get very cold at night and you can't top up the fire when your asleep 🤣 •electric points are in communal areas not individual •it's a bit of a walk to the toilets unless you use the one for composting which my kids refused to do I really think this is a refreshing break from the norm just wished my kids had stopped bickering for long enough for me to enjoy it more.

Tranquil and idylic

This is absolutely a perfect little gem of a campsite. We stayed as a family in the tent field which has loads of space for the kids to run about and each pitch has it's own fire pit and picnic table - so no need to bring your own tables and chairs! A barn has been very well converted to a shower and toilet block, and kitchen area. Every pitch gets half a fridge space, which is an absolute bonus as there are no supermarkets very close by, bar a pricey and small Londis in Broad Haven. I would definitely recommend doing a good shop in Haverfordwest and stock up before you get here. We walked from the campsite to the coastal path and from there to St Bride's Bay, the views along the route were stunning and so quiet. Broad Haven beach is brilliant for the kids as there are rock pools and plenty of sand to enjoy. Our hosts were friendly and approachable. Overall all the practical facilities you could wish for in a chilled out and peaceful setting.

Lovely green site

We really enjoyed our stay at this campsite. The facilities were clean and the fridge space came in really useful during a very hot weekend. Excellent recycling facilities. There was a picnic bench and fire pit for each pitch. Beautiful location. We booked due to the small number of pitches wanting a quieter experience. Just a point to note. We were expecting just one tent per pitch but often there were 2-3 large tents on each pitch making it a little busier than expected, therefore, ideally suited to large family groups wanting to meet up. All in all very enjoyable.
