The Owner Says
Tir Bach Farm is a small, quiet and family-friendly camping site with limited pitches and Yurts. If you are looking for a place to unwind, relax and kick off your shoes while watching the wildlife and gazing at the night sky over dancing flames of a campfire you really won't go wrong with us! We feel that as a family of keen campers, both new and retired, we know what makes a great campsite and can provide that perfect and special place for you. We've taken the best bits of our past experiences, added your recommendations and pulled them all together to create Tir Bach Farm! We have listened to our campers, read your great reviews over the past years and have implemented improvements based on your feedback.
We are proud to offer excellent shower and toilet facilities that are cleaned daily. There is a good, constant flow of hot water throughout the day, which is included in your nightly rate. We have separate male and female toilet areas with sinks and 4 large enclosed shower cubicles with a drop down seat, duck board and area to change.
We also have a good dish washing area with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridges and freezers for your convenience.
We can charge all your electrical items inc. Phones, laptops, Tablets etc. in the safety of the farm house for a small fee.
Camping is available from late April until the end of September.

At the beginning of the farm track is Penrhos Cottage, a traditional Pembrokeshire thatched cottage, almost unchanged since the 19th Century. Roze has a key. Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort at Preseli hills (01239 891319) is a 20-minute drive. Llys-y-Fran reservoir (01437 532273) is great for fishing, boating, cycling and walking, and there’s a café and play area. Scolton Manor (01437 731328) is just outside Haverfordwest. The nearest beach is at Newport; kayaking and sailing at Cardigan Bay. There are other beaches less than an hour away, including Newgale (for watersports), Dinas Head (for cute little sandy beaches) and Newport Sands (for big sandy beaches). St Davids is 45 minutes away, with plenty of history to keep everyone amused. Llys-y-Fran reservoir is nearby for fishing and boat hire.
Food & DrinkThe Old Post Office (01437 532205) in Rosebush is good for home-made grub, including vegetarian and vegan options. Also try the traditional Welsh pub The Tafarn Sinc Rosebush (01437 532214) – good for meat-eaters. The Bont Pub at Llanglyden (01994 419575) does Sunday lunches. At Nevern there’s the 16th century Trewern Arms (01239 820395), which does decent food. For groceries try Bethesda Farm Shop (01437 563124) and café, which sells excellent local meat, veg and bread.
There’s a small river in the woodland at the bottom of the site. And don’t get kicked by a milking cow either.
Tir Bach Farm is located at Llanycefn, Clunderwen, Pembrokeshire SA66 7XT
