Non-electric grass pitch
- Sleeps 4 (max 4 adults, 0 children)
The Owner Says
We are a small adults-only campsite that aims to provide a peaceful camping experience for adults who want to escape the noise of every day life and just chill out and listen to the birds singing and not noisy kids or groups and banging doors!
We don't have numbered pitches but we do have markers so that each tent has plenty of space. You can choose your own pitch all we ask is that you put your tent in front of a marker so that you are not invading someone else's pitch.
We are dog friendly and by that we mean you do not have to keep your dog tied up as long as your pet is under your control and does not disturb anybody on site.
Each pitch has its own fire pit that you can cook on or just sit in front of on a cool night. You are welcome to bring your own wood or buy some off us at £5 with fire lighters.
We are just off the A4069 which gives you easy access to Swansea and The Gower over the mountain. We also get many cycling enthusiasts using this route and if you do bring your bike it is a nice ride into Llangadog where you can enjoy a meal or a drink at the Goose and Cuckoo.
When you return, have a nice hot shower (we have two electric showers which are free) and make yourself at home in our camp kitchen where you will find a fridge (for your beers), a freezer, a toaster and a kettle. There's also a microwave so you can still have your scrambled egg on toast in the morning sat at the table or outside under our covered seating area (just in case it rains).
No need for washing dishes under a cold water tap – we have provided double sink with plenty of hot water. We have a selection of pans for you to use on your firepit and a selection of plates and cups and cutlery for you to use in the camp kitchen.
At night, sit next to our pond and watch the bats swooping in or just listen to the river.
If you like red kites then you couldn't have come to a better place as we run the Red Kite Feeding Centre in Llanddeusant where you can sit and watch these fantastic birds diving in for the meat.
Please note, only one tent is permitted per pitch. Only adults over 25 years old permitted. We will not accept any group bookings so please don't book individual pitches to come together as a group as you will not be allowed to stay and will not be refunded.
