The Owner Says

Children are able to explore the grass pathways, play Hide-and-Seek and use their imagination.  Evenings around the campfire chatting with family and friends, watched over (hopefully) by the twinkling stars, allows for a lovely end to the day. To enhance the experience of camping in the meadows, vehicles are left in the  car-park.  Barrows are provided to help move tents and kit to your pitch, unusual  but  fun, especially for children who often get a barrow ride from mum or dad. With cars parked up away from the camping, all can play safely in their surroundings. From here on in – you can relax, chill and enjoy time next to your own camp-fire.
We have 3 Tipis that are available for hire. Takoda, Amitola and Kangee. All three Tipis are set slightly apart from our camping pitches. Each one is set up looking over our lower meadow, with views towards the air field. There is a small wooded area behind our tipis that adds to the secluded, peaceful feeling.
With every tipi booking we supply everything that you need for a comfortable stay, including:
  • Fully furnished tipi with the number of beds specified in your booking, as well as plenty of blankets, cushions, rugs and other items of furniture, to make you feel right at home. Please bring duvet/sleeping bag, a pillow and towel. It is important that you bring a duvet or sleeping bag that is adequate for our nigh time temperatures. It can sometimes be cold overnight especially in springtime.
  • Welcome basket , including all the essentials such as milk, tea ,eggs and we also add in some sweet treats such as cupcakes or biscuits and of course marshmallows.
  • Logs, kindling, firelighters, everything you need to get a warm, crackling campfire going.
  • Patio gas stove outside your tipi.
  • A cooking grill to enjoy some rustic campfire cooking on a raised fire pit which is also by your tipi.
  • A welcome pack containing brochures of local attractions and other important information.
  • Please don’t forget to sign the visitors book and let us know what you thought of your stay.

Family Friendly

If Stratford-Upon-Avon's Shakespeare is too high brow for the kids then a little jousting, muck slinging and catapult throwing will liven things up at Warwick Castle. Just make sure no swords or pikes make it back to the campsite.
