Grass pitch (1 at The Paddocks)
The Paddocks Grass Pitches are lovely level areas which we have created in our camping field
The Owner Says
Each pitch is approximately 4 metres wide, so it can suit a variety of different size tents, however please note we only allow 2 people per pitch. The site boasts two separate toilets with WC and basins. There is lots of space and privacy, with open views across the Somerset Levels and beyond. You are welcome to use our cosy barn which is equipped with a log-burner and a fire-pit, in addition to washing up facilities with hot and cold water. You may purchase your own firepit / BBQ at a supplement, all we ask is for you to raise it up to keep it off the grass.

Amazing campsite with fantastic facilities and views
Such a lovely spot on the side of a hill overlooking the valley. As others have mentioned, the facilities were brand new and really nicely done. The barn was a cosy place to spend the evening with the wood burning stove and would provide great shelter in the rain (not that we had any!) Miriam was lovely and very welcoming and happy to advise on walks etc. which were stunning. Managed a circular walk through Cheddar Gorge and back which I would highly recommend. Thank you for a great stay!
Perfect campsite with amazing views
Miriam has done a great job with the space. We booked the entire site and stayed at the top of the field. The views were amazing. Cheddar was only a 5 min drive/25min walk away. Lots of great walks to do around the area. Shower and all other facilities were great. Little bonus things were a shower with under floor heating and a fridge/freezer which made everything that much better. Would 100% recommend!!
Great Campsite (even in the rain!)
We had a brilliant few days at The Paddocks. Miriam was fantastic and the facilities are really well thought through. Underfloor heating in the shower room was a brilliant touch! We had to shelter from the rain a few times in the communal kitchen area and even made use of the great wood burner and sofa. The views are unreal and when the sun did shine there were even more stunning sunsets. Fabulous location with great walks from the campsite. Highly recommended!
