About Tom's Field (New Forest)
Tents, campervans, dogs – yes. Caravans and motorhomes – no.
It’s ½ mile to Sandy Balls Holiday Park (08442 491193), home to all the extra amenities you might fancy (including a swimming pool, bike hire and children’s playgrounds). There are a number of good cycle routes running past the campsite. Bikes are generally considered the best way to make the most of the area. Keep your eyes peeled for wild ponies and deer or spot them more easily at local wildlife parks. It’s a ½-hour drive to the Beaulieu Estate (01590 614621), home to the National Motor Museum among other delights, and less to Paultons Family Theme Park (02380 814442), home to Peppa Pig World, and hugely popular with little ones.

The Fighting Cocks (01425 652462) is a hop and a skip away with outdoor seating and piled-high plates of usual to unusual pub fare, such as New Forest faggots and mash and spicy New Orleans jambalaya.

Chilled site - perfect for kids and dogs
What a special place! Walking distance to a pub serving decent food to suit most tastes at fair pricing. Great new shower cubicles - all facilities kept super clean. Liked the marked out generous pitches, which helped with spacing. The campsite is by a road but its quiet-ish. Local shop provides tasty breakfast treat options 8-9 weekends; when we stayed pizza van supplied amazing pizza - also catering for GF. Brilliant reception staff - who care.
What another fantastic time we had at Tom’s field. Lovely spot in the adults field, lovely girl in reception and very helpful.it’s our second visit and will be back again.
Lovely and clean showers and toilets friendly staff camp site kept really tidy. Beach only 35 mins away
A favourite spot
This was our second trip to Tom's field and we really love it. It's peaceful and wonderful to have an adults only area. Lovely surroundings and Fordingbridge is only a ten minute drive. Clean facilities and the mobile shop/bakery and pizza truck are great. Will definitely be back... If there's space!

We had the most wonderful stay at Tom’s field ! The pitches are well spread out with stunning views and very secluded ! A short walk to an immaculately kept shower block with equally clean Porter loos ! The owners are on site and super friendly! Can’t wait to go back !!

Tom's Field (New Forest) is located at Godshill Pottery, The Ridge, Fordingbridge, Hampshire New Forest SP6 2LN
From the M27 take the B3078 towards Fordingbridge. The campsite is just outside the village of Godshill, 3 miles before Fordingbridge. It’s half a mile before the Sandy Balls holiday centre, which is signposted from the M27.
Many campers disembark with their bikes at Brokenhurst railway station, 15 miles away and cycle to the site. Also open top seasonal bus runs and can be pick up at Brockenhurst, Lymington and New Milton train stations. Transfer onto Red route and get off at The Fighting Cocks.
