After a long day exploring Yorkshire’s brooding moors and dramatic coastline, what could be better than relaxing in a private roll-top bath amongst the trees? Snuggled within 15 acres of a huge 200-acre woodland, Jollydays offers luxury boutique luxury glamping in ‘God's Own Country’. Boasting king-size beds, wood burners and even candelabras (yes, that’s right!), this site is a real upgrade from your standard glamping getaway. Five star food – including potted pheasant or a supper pot of ham cooked in cider can be delivered to your accommodation on arrival. Set up in 2008, Jollydays is great fun in all seasons; naturally, glampers will spend most of the long, summer days outside walking and cycling in some of the UK’s finest scenery but as light levels change through the year, autumn evenings are best spent snuggled up by the wood burner in your slippers. Fantastic!

The Owner Says

Our cosy, insulated Woodcutter Huts are double glazed and the décor is warm tweed; the perfect woodland retreat if you’re looking for more comfort than a traditional tent. These comfortable huts are perfect for a romantic retreat or for families with young children, they are equipped with a king-sized bed and a double sofa bed.

Located outside is a huge awning enabling you to use the barbecue all year round and a two-ring gas hob is provided too. If you book the Woodcutter Hut you also have full use of the communal shower and toilet block. Our showers each have their own boiler and are instantly hot and powerful.

All of the tents at Jolly Days are set within 15 acres of a 200 acre woodland with no tents closer than 15 metres and many much further than that. Being in a quiet woodland you can expect to hear the murmur of voices, occasional laughter and the natural wildlife, all adding to the feeling of escaping life. Jollydays Glamping attracts couples, groups, families, reunions, walkers, non campers, the young and old.

Your tent is kitted out with bedding and furniture but don't forget to bring a torch, clothes, shampoo and other personal cleaning products, Food and drink, slippers and wellies!
