Snuggled within 15 acres of a huge 200-acre woodland, Jollydays offers luxury boutique luxury glamping in ‘God's Own Country’. Boasting king-size beds, wood burners and even candelabras (yes, that’s right!), this site is a real upgrade from your standard glamping getaway. Five star food – including potted pheasant or a supper pot of ham cooked in cider can be delivered to your accommodation on arrival. Set up in 2008, Jollydays is great fun in all seasons; naturally, glampers will spend most of the long, summer days outside walking and cycling in some of the UK’s finest scenery but as light levels change through the year, autumn evenings are best spent snuggled up by the wood burner in your slippers. Fantastic!

The Owner Says

Our Woodland Tents are perfect for families and adult groups to enjoy a woodland escape. Inside it has a large wood burning stove, instant hot running water and six hot water bottles for those chillier nights. You will find a gas hob with four rings and a barbecue outside to help you with your cooking. Alternatively indulge by ordering one of our breakfast or supper baskets throughout your stay.

You will also find a bathroom cabin inside the tent with a toilet, shower and a roll-top bath and sink. A kitchen cabin is inside the tent too with a kitchen sink, electric light, all crockery and utensils, and a fridge to chill a bottle when you arrive! The veranda outside has a seating area for eating alfresco and an extra space with awning overhead to BBQ. Finally there is a large dining and living space to have a candlelit dinner and relaxing space on the sofa, all surrounding that big wood burning stove!

All of the tents at Jolly Days are set within 15 acres of a 200 acre woodland with no tents closer than 15 metres and many much further than that. Being in a quiet woodland you can expect to hear the murmur of voices, occasional laughter and the natural wildlife, all adding to the feeling of escaping life. Jollydays Glamping attracts couples, groups, families, reunions, walkers, non campers, the young and old.

Your tent is kitted out with bedding and furniture but don't forget to bring a torch, clothes, shampoo and other personal cleaning products, Food and drink, slippers and wellies!
