Horton-in-Ribblesdale Camping

On the banks of the River Ribble, the pretty village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale, in the south west of the Yorkshire Dales, is primarily known for two things. First, it is the traditional starting point for the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and, secondly, it's home to the curving, 440-yard-long Ribblehead Viaduct, the single most dramatic man-made sight in this wild corner of the Dales.
