Thoroughly recommended

This is easily one of the best sites I've stayed at. Small, quiet and very relaxed - the kindling, logs and toiletries are all there on hand and available to buy via an honesty box system and the facilities are all kept very clean. The toilets and showers were really nice, with hot water throughout. Pub and village shop a short walk away across fields and Wickham Market village a few minutes drive away. Well located for visiting, we went to Thorpeness Meare, Aldeburgh, Orford Ness and Woodbridge, among other places, all within 20-40 minutes drive. Will definitely be returning for another visit.

Nice and quiet.

Had a good stay here. Lovely and quiet, beautiful dark skies and a very quick walk over fields to the pub, local shop and train station cafe. Not sure what that would be like after lots of rain. A fire pit for each pitch is a fab idea and we took advantage of this. Showers and toilets are fine and are regularly cleaned. Love the no music rule! The peace was much appreciated. Would recommend as a basic camp site.

Blissful and pristine

Great little camp site 15 minutes from Aldeburgh and Thorpeness. Facilities were pristine (even a wet room!) and just off the A12 so easy to find .... if you know how! Fire pits were a bonus and spent a lovely evening on a mini tour of the East Coast in our trusty VW bus just chilling out. Thoroughly recommended and will definitely stay again for a weekend break in sunny Suffolk!

Perfect, thank you!

We stayed at Brick Kiln Farm in our camper van in mid-October and were the only ones on the site! The facilities were great – hot showers, clean toilets, and easy access to sinks/kettle/toaster/microwave in the main building. Thanks so much for having us. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Suffolk in 2020. Rich and Anna x

A very pleasant and relaxing stay

We had a short stay at Brick Kiln Farm from Sunday 11th to Tuesday, 13 August 2019. We arrived the day after a big storm so the site was very quiet and we were able to choose our own pitch. We chose a pitch in the orchard close to the amenity block. We were very impressed with the campsite. The other people camping were friendly. In the evenings a number of people would congregate in the community area to read and talk together. Tina worked very hard to keep the showers toilets and campsite clean during our stay. Our advice would be to follow the directions given to access the campsite. If you simply put the postcode in you are likely to be taken down a very narrow single track road which has limited passing places. As mentioned in the site details there is some road noise in the distance from the A12 and there are some pylons visible, these were the only drawbacks, but they did not really detract from our experience. The location is convenient for visiting Woodbridge, Sutton Hoo, Aldeburgh and Southwold. We look forward to visiting again.
