Norfolk Glamping Holidays

Yaxham, Norfolk, England
1 acre hosted by Norfolk G.
A wonderful way to experience yurt or shepherds hut camping, without the isolation of many glamping spots

Okay, so the cows don’t really disappear – they just come and go as they please via a secret tunnel under the road – but Shane is definitely the greenest campsite owner we’ve met. Not because he looks like Shrek or anything, it’s just that he recycles and repurposes everything. So maybe, in that sense, he’s more like a Womble. Tobermory, perhaps…

Norfolk Glamping & Yurt Holidays, formerly Nature’s Path, was originally just that, a path (well, a tractor track) that ran between Yaxham Waters Holiday Park and the picturesque field beside it. Using no small amount of imagination, Shane dreamed up a bijou glamping idyll. With a few yurts and a railway goods carriage to choose from, it just so happens to be the perfect way to introduce your little ones to the joys of sleeping outdoors.

A welcoming and enthusiastic host, Shane will regale you with the tales of provenance for anything and everything at the site. From the up-cycled Hot Tubs they made using pallets, washing machine drums, to the World War II sand buckets from the roofs of Norwich City Council that now happily serve as ash bins, these items have been given an eco-minded second chance.

The good thing about being so close to a large holiday park is that its facilities are at your disposal. There are various farm animals to feed, a play area, and well-stocked ponds to fish. Let your lot loose on this site and they’ll just love wombling free.
