These Luxury Trapper Tents are ideal for a group of up to 6 people.These light and airy Trapper structures are beautifully crafted out of canvas and wood, and provide the perfect accommodation for a true glamping experience.Inside there is an open-plan kitchen and dining area with a fully equipped kitchenette, you can roll back the blinds and enjoy the views from your private decked terrace whilst also enjoying some al fresco dining.The accommodation includes:- 1 double bedroom- 1 bedroom with 2x single beds.- 1 sleeping area in the mezzanine area, accessed by ladder, with 2 single beds.Please bring your own bed linen, as these are not provided.The campsite facilities are all a short walk away, including the shower and toilet blocks.Surrounded by fields of Sunflowers and grazing cows, Camping Pré Fixe is a perfect escape, to relax in and enjoy your holiday.The campsite also has the following facilities, to keep everyone entertained:- Heated swimming pool from 1st May until 30th September- Boulodrome, trampoline, badminton, ping-pong, tennis (300m walk) and a football pitch (behind the church)- The on-site 'épicerie' hosts a wealth of local produce and all of the camping necessities you will need during your stay- The wine Bar and restaurant are also favourites with holiday makers with locally sourced produce and fantastic wines hand picked by your host Cyril.- In peak season there are 'Plat du Jour' themed evenings with a BBQ, giant Risotto and Pasta nights, perfect for a family meal.- Order your bread the night before so you can enjoy your freshly baked baguettes and pastries the next morning!Situated at the foot of the Pyrénées, you are spoilt for choice when it comes to activities! Including hiking, mountaineering, cycling, rafting etc... the choice is yours!Hop in the car for a trip to Toulouse, Lourdes or Pau, or take the cable car up to the Pic du Midi, and feel like a James Bond villain in your mountain top layer!If this is all too much, just kick back and enjoy a snooze under the shade of a tree, whilst listening to the sounds of nature, before heading over to the wine bar to enjoy a glass or two of beautiful local wine... unwind and relax, you're on holiday!
With the Pyrénées just beyond your tent flaps, a wealth of outdoor pursuits await you: caving, rock climbing, paragliding, rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning, kayak; to name but a few. There's also plenty of walking/hiking/cycling routes and the beautiful ancient village of Comminges is just a short stroll from the site.
Food & Drink
Le Bistro offers quality wines and a fresh daily menu of home-made dishes. Cyril also organises barbecues, evening dinners and wine tasting events. To cherish your stay, "a wine of prestige" can also be made specially.
Take A10 (Paris-Bordeaux 582 km) and then A62 (Bordeaux-Toulouse 242 km). Take A64 (during about 60 km, Tarbes direction), exit 21 (Aurignac direction) and finally Cassagnaberes after 8 km.
From Paris (by highway):
Coming from Paris, take the A10 motorway. In Toulouse, take A64 motorway towards Tarbes . Exit 21 towards Aurignac and then Cassagnaberes after 8 km.
From Paris (by train):
Coming with TGV from Paris-Montparnasse station or from Austerlitz staion for the other trains. Information:SNCF Toulouse-Matabiau, phone :08 92 35 35 35. Paris-Toulouse: Around 20 trains a day, whose 3 of them are direct. Traveling time : 5h10 with the TGV. From Toulouse to Cassagnaberes: Take the train towards Boussens or towards St-Gaudens.
From London, Bristol and Manchester to Toulouse : plane and after from Toulouse to Cassagnabere : Take A64 (during about 60 km, Tarbes direction), exit 21 (Aurignac direction) and finally Cassagnaberes after 8 km.
