Salama ("African resonance") has a double bed (140x190cm) , a simple bed (90x190cm) and a wooden children's bed for maximum 3 years old.
A small dining area with a fridge, micro-wave, toaster, coffee maker and radio-CD. Coffee, tea, herbal teas and cacao at your disposal.
You will find the showers facilities as well as the toilets few steps from the cabin. 
The fountain of drinkable water is accessible on the way to the cabin.
We have installed two hammocks  outside the cabin for a nice and relaxing afernoon nap.
And last but not least, we let on the porch of the cabin, just before 9am, a basket with breakfast (bread, butter, marmelade, cakes, yogurt, juice, milk). Thank you for doing the dishes at the sanitary cabin and for storing everything afterwards.
Please note that pets are not allowed in the cabin.

Troyes, capital city of the Aube department is recommended for a visit and is only 30 miles (50 km) from Meurville. Numerous museums and medieval buildings pack the narrow streets of this historical city. During the second week of June it hosts various Champagne Fairs.

The Champagne Tourist Route is a 373 miles (600-km) signposted circular trip through the beautiful "Region du Champagne" and  tourist offices can point you in the direction of champagne producers with cellars open to the public. Running between Bar-sur-Seine and Bar-sur-Aube the trail leads through Meurville and can be picked up there.

During the second week of June it hosts various Champagne Fairs.

About 19 miles (30 km) north-west of Meurville is the "Lac d’Orient". It is the largest one out of the three man made lake in the Orient Forest Regional Natural Park  once home of the Knights Templar. It includes two marinas and three sand beaches.

The Aube has countryside of gentle rolling hills and picturesque views, it is a place to take a walk or hire a mountain bike and explore. if  you travel by car you will pass many villages where you will want to stop and relax.

Switch off the satnav, leave with a full tank of petrol, and see where it takes you.

Meurville is a village of 180 inhabitants. The nearest quality restaurants are La Toque Baralbine in Bar-sur-Aube, 5½ miles (9 km) away, Le Moulin du Landion in Dolancourt, 4½ miles (7½ km) away, and Marilyn Perron’s personal recommendation La Petite Auberge in Arsonval, 6 miles (10 km) away, which serves typical local food such as rabbit in champagne.

Getting There

From Paris follow A5a and then A5 beyond Troyes until the turn off for D4 north. Meurville is signposted as a left turn off D4. The site office is in Meurville village opposite the Les Perron-Beauvineau cellar sign, on route de Spoy. Phone from the village, where someone will guide you to the site.

Get off at Bar-sur-Aube Station (9 km from Meurville). Taxis can drive you then Meurville.
