Our only regret about this campsite is that we didn't stay longer! The setting is absolutely beautiful. The immediately nearby village is picture perfect, very quiet, and goes immediately on to a fabulous cycle patch along the canal. It felt like there was so much to do in the area, and the campsite was completely peaceful at nighttime. We definitely plan to return to this wonderful site.
Perfect getaway and Covid safe
A fantastic site with lots of space and tranquility.the restaurant served the most amazing food and the safety precautions put in place due to Covid were excellent.perfect for anyone wanting to cycle on flat dedicated cycle paths along the river for miles. Highly recommend.
lovely campsite, lovely area
Nice campsite with clean bathrooms, laundry, and daily pastry delivery. Located in a beautiful area for walking, cycling, and wine tastings. The shared kitchen was closed but the restaurant was open with outdoor seating. Campsite/restaurant staff and other campers consistently wore masks and bathrooms were cleaned regularly.
Ideal stay - couldn’t recommend more!
Stayed in pod. Power point, 5foot main bed and a single plus camp bed beautiful village next to cycling route. Near to two villages with nice restaurants. Free canoe hire gave us a special day on the river. Would recommend most highly. Lovely friendly staff. Great food.
Perfect Place to Relax
This campsite is awesome. You receive a warm welcome upon arrival and the staff work tirelessly to make your stay enjoyable. The site is located in a peaceful rural location but you have easy access to key things such as supermarkets. The food in the restaurant is fab and I'd really recommend the takeaway pizza's. Whether walking along the limestone cliffs or floating down the river on the campsites kayaks, which are free to use, there are plenty of things to do nearby. This is a great family campsite which will see us returning in the future.
