Luxury camping pod

The Owner Says

These luxury Camping Pods are ideal if you don't want the hassle of putting up and taking down your own tent but still want the freedom and the magic of the open-air.
The luxury camping pods can accommodate up to 4 guests in a full sized double bed and two single camp beds. In the rear of the pod is a sectioned-off area which through the day is a comfy sofa and at night converts to the full sized double bed. Storage units and a table complete the interior fixtures.
At the front of your pod is your own private decking with a complimentary BBQ and table & chairs. You can of course use our fully equipped Camper's Kitchen or treat yourself to meals, drinks and snacks in our cafe, bar and restaurant.
Bed linen and towels are NOT included
No smoking or cooking is permitted inside the pods and sadly we can't accept Dogs in the pods either.
You can park one car adjacent to your Pod - any other cars are welcome to stay for free in our on-site car park.
Camping Merry-sur-Yonne offers a wealth of activities to do, from rock-climbing to cycling, to giant chess and an extensive playground for the children.
There is an on-site grocery store with local produce and a bar-café-restaurant serving snacks and drinks all day and an a-la-carte table service from 12–2:00pm and 7pm–9pm. Takeaway options also include pizzas, fish and chips and ice creams. The restaurant has a large outdoor terrace.

Tranquility

Our only regret about this campsite is that we didn't stay longer! The setting is absolutely beautiful. The immediately nearby village is picture perfect, very quiet, and goes immediately on to a fabulous cycle patch along the canal. It felt like there was so much to do in the area, and the campsite was completely peaceful at nighttime. We definitely plan to return to this wonderful site.

lovely campsite, lovely area

Nice campsite with clean bathrooms, laundry, and daily pastry delivery. Located in a beautiful area for walking, cycling, and wine tastings. The shared kitchen was closed but the restaurant was open with outdoor seating. Campsite/restaurant staff and other campers consistently wore masks and bathrooms were cleaned regularly.

Ideal stay - couldn’t recommend more!

Stayed in pod. Power point, 5foot main bed and a single plus camp bed beautiful village next to cycling route. Near to two villages with nice restaurants. Free canoe hire gave us a special day on the river. Would recommend most highly. Lovely friendly staff. Great food.

Perfect Place to Relax

This campsite is awesome. You receive a warm welcome upon arrival and the staff work tirelessly to make your stay enjoyable. The site is located in a peaceful rural location but you have easy access to key things such as supermarkets. The food in the restaurant is fab and I'd really recommend the takeaway pizza's. Whether walking along the limestone cliffs or floating down the river on the campsites kayaks, which are free to use, there are plenty of things to do nearby. This is a great family campsite which will see us returning in the future.
