Hamish is a true Scot. Made from reclaimed whisky barrels at his home near Edinburgh, he will provide a hearty welcome to roaming guests.

The Owner Says

From £252 for a winter weekend, to £714 for a summer week. Hamish's owners, Anita and James, make their living creating beautiful handmade objects from whisky barrel wood, so it was no challenge to them to transform this carpet-washing van into a luxury campervan hire experience for two.Everything has been thought of to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from the spacious fixed bed, to the flip-up worktop extender; the propex heater inside to the outdoor fire pit. And don’t forget the ingenious slow cooker, which allows you to arrive at your destination with dinner already made! This is a practical van but he is executed with the most exquisite craftsmanship and bags of creative flair. They say that a Scotsman’s home is his castle, and Hamish’s waney edges, ornate decorations and beautiful handpainted details combine to make him feel like a palace on wheels.
